The Quality Manager responsibilities will be to provide clear leadership for the development of an environment focused on Quality. Develop quality-process links with customers in line with the Quality Management System (including: IATF 16949, ISO 9001), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Control Plans, Failure Mode, and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) processes and oversee continued compliance and embedding across the business.

Oversees the aluminum MiG robotic weld line welding processes, continuous improvement evaluation, and training for weld repair positions. Conducts root cause analysis; applying knowledge of fabrication, assembly, and materials; conferring with quality engineers, quality inspectors, equipment suppliers, and soliciting observations from operators

Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, machining, assembly, tooling, fixturing and materials of CNC and robotic equipment; conferring with product design engineers, quality engineers, quality inspectors, equipment suppliers, and soliciting observations from operators.

Installation, repair, and upkeep operations of OMR’s equipment to include CNC and robots. Ensure that all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as set forth in equipment manuals and by company policy pertaining to automated equipment is completed in a timely fashion. Ensures the that all repairs are completed in a safe, timely, and quality manner either by scheduled preventative maintenance or by on demand repair

Monitor the production process to ensure that they meet production standards/requirements. Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process. Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced. Discuss inspection results with those responsible for the process.

Safely set-up, maintain and operate machinery; and efficiently and effectively run quality parts; and properly maintain documentation and records. Ability to properly communicate with co-workers. Maintain work areas using 5S.

Safely and accurately receive, process, package, and ship material, which include customer orders using material moving equipment to include standup lifts, electric pallet jacks. Experience with ERP systems, SAP considered a plus. Ability to properly communicate with co-workers.
